2017 Mustache Club

The Senior High School is participating in the 4th annual "Mustache Club" to help raise money and awareness for Erika Miller. She was diagnosed with with Rett Syndrome when she was only 1 year old. Rett Syndrome is a unique postnatal neurological disorder that is first recognized in infancy and seen almost always in girls, but can rarely be seen in boys. She can't walk, talk, or
use her hands. She has a feeding tube that gives her all the nutrients she needs.

The school would like to help Erika and her family, so we will be selling paper mustaches for $1 November 13th through November 17th during all 3 lunches. The grade that raises the most money will receive a treat and a movie at the end of the month.

We will also be selling t-shirts for Erika. All proceeds will go directly to Erika and her family. All shirts cost $10 dollars and you can get an order form from your homeroom teacher. The t-shirts are black with white lettering and Erika's name in purple lettering. All forms and money are due to your homeroom teachers by Friday, November 3rd.

We are also encouraging all students and staff to try and grow your best mustache during the month of November. We will take a school photo at the end of the month with anyone who grew a 'stache or purchased a t-shirt/paper mustache.
