The boys soccer team is having a great season! They clinched a spot in playoffs for the first time in 2 years. Griffin Prinkey was interviewed after the boys senior night on October 3rd against Norwin. He said "We tied them 2-2 with no score within the two overtime limit, which is pretty good considering last year they destroyed us." He described the game by saying it was intense, an evenly played game, physical, and very fast. Prinkey also informed me that they have never beat Norwin. Earlier in the season the boys lost to Norwin 3-2, "They outplayed us, Norwin is a tough team, they are beatable but you have to be on top of your game" The boys have 6 seniors this year. (Kolton Sheele, Thomas Hixon, Thomas Deason, Griffin Prinkey, Alexander Shultz, and Ramel Hamborsky) The boys had a small student section supporting them last night and Prinkey thinks that this helped bring up the intensity. We wish the best of luck to the boys with the rest of their season!
