CAHS Hall of Fame: Ray Scott

 Ray Scott graduated from CAHS in 1936. He was a nationally acclaimed sports broadcaster whose career covered over five decades. He was the “Voice of the Greenday” and later a part of CBS’ leading NFL Broadcasting team. He has also broadcasted various college sports, professional golf, and Major League Baseball including several World Series.
Scott was voted the nation’s “ Best Sports Broadcaster”, twice.
The press box at Connellsville’s Falcon Stadium is named after Ray Scott.
