Easter is a special time where we spend time with loved ones and celebrate the arrival of spring.
The holiday started originally with the celebration of Jesus Christ and his resurrection from the dead.
But, that is not the only thing that Easter is associated with. Easter also has non religious ties also.
In the 1700's German immigrants brought over one of the symbols of Easter the Easter Bunny.
The Germans associated the rabbit with renewal and procreation. Coloring eggs came from games
such as egg rolling. So all in all Easter is a time for everyone, a time for renewal and family.
