Maya Angelou once said,” We may encounter many defeats but we must not be defeated.” this quote speaks true to prominent issues that we as a society face today. This quote implies that in life you will have many failures. But, we can not let these failures define us. We have to press on, keep fighting that upward battle that is life. Apply this advice to your high school experience or just life in general and I promise that you will be a successful and contributing member of society.
