Anderson Cooper once said, “It's not the world that has gotten worse. It's that the news coverage has gotten so much better.” The message that is sent from this quote is morbid but necessary. We have always had bad things happening in the world. The only reason that we did not hear about these things before is that the news was not as prevalent as it is in today's society. There is a lot more news outlets and social media which makes information circulate faster.
