The art students are raising money selling cookies and other items. Instead of going on the field trip they be getting money to bring in a famous artist.

CAHS Hall of Fame: Thomas Sankovich

Thomas Sankovich graduated from Connellsville High School in the class. He served the Connellsville Area Senior High School for 40 years as a teacher and a coach. Sankovich graduated from the University of Maryland where he played football. He was also named Maryland's most valuable lineman in 1960. He led the Falcon baseball team to over 400 victories and four WPIAL Championship. The Connellsville Area High School Baseball field was named in his honor.
