Business Student of the Month Luncheon
The 2018 Business Student of the Month Scholarship winner is Sara Ellis. Sara was awarded a $500 scholarship from the
Connellsville Chamber of Commerce. Sara competed against 9 other Business Students; their task was to write a 500 word
essay on the how they would “pitch” the community of Connellsville to potential business investors. All of the Business
Students of the Month were recognized at a luncheon at Bud Murphy’s on Monday, May 7; where they enjoyed salad, pizza
and cake. Sara will continue her education at Saint Vincent and she plans on majoring in Accounting. Congratulations Sara!
